KANSAS CITY, MO – BioNexus KC, a catalyst for animal and human health innovation, is pleased to announce Emily Haas as the Director of Programs. Haas will lead and oversee project execution to ensure adherence to strategic objectives and priorities. She has a unique and diverse skill set and a background combining education, project management, and strategic planning.
“This position is an ideal combination of program development and strategic planning,” Haas said. “I look forward to establishing infrastructure to promote access to employment opportunities in the life sciences industry.”

The Director of Programs role will manage grant-funded education and workforce development initiatives to advance the life sciences and healthcare workforce strategic priorities in the KC region. The position also includes strategic planning and implementation for Digital Health KC. At the center of health + data, the organization will advance the KC region’s digital health cluster.
“The innovation component excites me,” Haas said. “There are multiple impeccable initiatives already in play, and I am thrilled to accelerate them by developing an enhanced structure to ensure their sustainability and growth.”
Most recently, Haas worked for Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, developing programs and executing strategic initiatives for the cardiovascular service line.
