KCSourceLink
KCSourceLink connects a network of 140 nonprofit resource organizations that provide business-building services for small businesses. We facilitate the linking of these resource organizations to one another and to established, emerging and start-up small businesses throughout the region.
Kansas Department of Commerce
The Kansas Department of Commerce Business Development Division's mission is to maximize positive impacts on the Kansas economy through the creation/retention of jobs and increased capital investment. As well as promoting the growth, diversification, and retention of existing business and industry in Kansas, the Division is responsible for the recruitment of new business to the state and the creation of new job opportunities for Kansans. The Division is composed of four different sections: Business Assistance, Business Finance, Business Recruitment and the Office of Minority and Women Business Development.
NetWork Kansas
The Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship was established as a component of the Kansas Economic Growth Act of 2004 to further establish entrepreneurship and small business as a priority for economic and community development in the state of Kansas. Its mission is to promote an entrepreneurial environment throughout the state of Kansas by establishing a central portal that connects entrepreneurs and small business owners with the right resource; expertise, education, and/or economic, at the right time.

Missouri Small Business Technology Development Centers
The Missouri Small Business Technology Development Centers (MO SBTDC) are focused on strengthening the technological competitiveness of Missouri's businesses. Designed to improve the participation of small technology firms in the innovation and commercialization of new technology, the MO SBTDC program encourages and enhances technology research and development, technology transfer and technology deployment. One of the primary services of the MO SBTDC is the MoFAST initiative, which provides services to businesses interested in participating in the SBIR/STTR program.
Missouri Technology Corporation
Chartered by an act of the General Assembly in 1994, the Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC) is a private, not-for-profit corporation led by a 15 member Board of Directors, 11 of whom are appointed by the governor. The Board is comprised of leaders in the fields of science and technology and representatives of public and private universities, businesses, and the public. The MTC is charged by law with being a focal point for creating better ways Missouri businesses can interface with universities in order to solve technical and productivity issues; for bringing more research funding and emphasis to Missouri universities, especially involving the life sciences, information technology and advanced manufacturing; and for creating and managing a system to transfer new discoveries into the marketplace in order to create companies and jobs.

The research expertise of KU's faculty and students is an engine for economic growth.
