Dave Frantze heads the Kansas City real estate practice at the law firm of Stinson Leonard Street LLP. He represents developers, property owners and tenants in real estate development projects, particularly large, complex projects that include the use of development incentives such as tax increment financing and tax abatement. In addition, Mr. Frantze assists clients to obtain and negotiate economic incentives in connection with creation of new jobs, the relocation of jobs into the community or the development of new business facilities.
He represents the developers of the Sprint Center and the Power & Light District and serves as general counsel to the Kansas City Royals. Dave also serves as counsel to Union Station Kansas City, Inc.
In addition to BioNexus KC, Mr. Frantze serves on the board of numerous charitable and civic organizations, including the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City, the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, Heart of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Kansas City Repertory Theatre.
Mr. Frantze is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Who's Who in America and Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers Magazine.
Mr. Frantze graduated from Avila University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976. He received his J.D. in 1981 from University of Missouri Kansas City, where he has served as an adjunct professor and taught courses in real estate finance and development law.
