Dan Cohen is a media relations senior strategist for Saint Luke’s Health System. Dan helps tell the Saint Luke’s story across all clinical specialties and at all Saint Luke’s locations in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a marketing strategist, providing support to the flagship hospital campus on the Kansas City Country Club Plaza.

Dan made the shift to a career in marketing and public relations after more than eight years in local television, most recently for KSHB 41 in Kansas City. His primary area of focus as a general assignment reporter with KSHB 41 was covering all aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic, winning a Midwest Regional Emmy in Health News for in-depth reporting on front-line workers.

A Philadelphia native, Dan graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse and Falk Schools with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Sport Management. He and his wife are proud to call Kansas City their personal and professional home.
