Nerissa Lowe brings a unique blend of experience in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical and Engineering sectors to her role as Executive Assistant and Office Manager at BioNexus KC. With a career spanning global pharmaceutical firms, research institutions, and cross-functional scientific teams, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the language, culture, and operational dynamics unique to the life sciences. Her background as a Norwegian, Danish and Swedish translator and technical writer, combined with experience across scientific, business, and administrative settings, enables her to bridge communication gaps and support the coordination of complex initiatives.

At BioNexus KC, the coordinating body for the Kansas City region’s life sciences ecosystem, Nerissa supports the executive leadership team with a focus on strategic scheduling, high-level project coordination, and internal and external communications.
