Dr. Ben Wolfe has over 20 years’ experience of teaching and leadership in higher education institutions. He received his Bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Master’s degree in geology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Kansas. Dr. Wolfe’s research focuses on the changing landscape of higher education, workforce development, geoscience education, and two-year college student transfer. He has presented on topics of innovation in higher education, workforce development, broadening participation in the sciences, and partnerships between two-year and four-year institutions. He currently serves as Dean and CEO of the Kansas State University Olathe Campus. Prior to this he served as Associate Dean of the School of Professional Studies and the University of Kansas Edwards Campus and was a Teaching Professor in the Environmental Studies program at KU.
