Please join us for a conversation with Dr. Rajendra Srivastava, Professor Emeritus of Accounting and Information Systems in the School of Business and founder of SeekEdgar. Dr. Srivastava has done research in Artificial Intelligence, Quantitative Social Research and Probability Theory. His research has resulted in two patentable technologies: SeekINF (Search Engine for Extracting Knowledge from Industry Filings), and FRAANK (Financial Reporting and Auditing Agent with Net Knowledge. Currently, SeekINF is used to extract financial and non-financial information from SEC Filings by querying the system. FRAANK provides financial information from a company’s annual and quarterly filings. The University of Kansas received a US Patent for FRAANK in 2010. Currently these technologies are being developed and marketed by SeekEdgar through annual subscription.
