2019 BioNexus KC Annual Dinner

Dr. Jessilyn Dunn is developing new ways to integrate data from multiple sources, including electronic health records, wearables and genomics/proteomics with the hope of being able to better treat patients. “Dr. Dunn’s work is incredible and is advancing not only how we integrate data from both medical and personal sources, but also how we can use that data for more personalized treatments,” Dennis Ridenour, President & CEO of BioNexus KC said. “Given the industry, resources and assets in and around our region, Kansas City should be leading the national discussion of how best to use and integrate data into healthcare.”

BioNexus KC featured the “Science to Art” silent auction again this year. This platform allows researchers who are usually driven by data and logic to explore their creativity, while also exposing more people to the beauty of science. Since starting the Science to Art program more than 5 years ago we have raised more than $60,000 for STEAM education. These images were submitted by researchers from our stakeholder institutions and have been professionally curated, printed, and framed.
